La Forge: Residential Production Studio

Forging a song, a track, a symphony, a thing, call it what you want, it's always an adventure. Sometimes it's dazzling, in one take, and the next day we trample, we lose track, we navigate on sight..."Don't bother, we'll try again tomorrow!".

This is how the concept was defined:

Give yourself the time to create, produce, record beautiful musical projects without the dictum of the clock and away from everyday life.

The place:

 An old 19th century forge, 1h30 from Paris, in a small village in the Yonne district. In the past everyone would meet there to manufacture, repair or modify.

A long process of renovation then began. The place has kept its vocation but has been transformed. Albums have been released, sometimes awarded such as Naïssam Jalal's magnificent album 'Quest of the Invisible'  Victoire du Jazz 2019, mixed at La Forge, or the many vinyl records from Soul label Q-Sounds Recording.

Lots of music have also been created and videos shot for many studio brands such as elysia, Golden Age Music, Brainworx, UAD, Neold, Fuse Audio Labs, or Roger Schult Design.

For whom, for what?

 Whether your project is an EP, an album, the additional tracks of a piece produced at home, a creative residency, the soundtrack of a documentary or a short film, come and meet us. With more than 20 years spent collaborating with the world of art and entertainment from all over the world, we have always used our experience to raise each project to its highest potential.

  Since 2023 La Forge has completed its rehabilitation and running-in phase. We can now welcome you, so please reach out, we will be happy to meet you.
